I have a friend who basically hits this RV park annually and constantly raves about it, so I was excited to finally get to check it out on an epic group camping trip this past fall with about 40 of my closest friends. I had a full hookup spot in one of the upper loops, backed the ol' Rpod into it, and was set up in a jiffy - although the spot was FAR from level and it took some extra work (and borrowing a couple of their landscaping blocks) to get 'er done.
The park is very walkable and friendly. Pretty much everybody has a dog or two, so me and my new pooch met a lot of fun people. There are on-site restroom facilities, although during our visit one of them was closed most of the time. The park is kept very clean, and there were regular drive-bys by park personnel to handle any rabble-rousers (of which there were few, present company excepted).
There's also a gorgeous lakefront and beach area, which I wish had been a little easier to get to - most of it is fenced off with only a couple of gates available at the far end of the park. Not a deal-breaker but it would have been nice to have easier access from where we were camped.
My biggest wish is that they'd modernize their extremely antiquated website and reservation system. Perhaps I'm spoiled by technology, but it seemed way too 1992 having to actually call for a reservation.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - M B.Seattle, WA06May 29, 2023
Do you enjoy the sound of sprinklers hitting your tent from 2-4am? How about starting your day with everything at your site soaking wet? Do you savor the sound of cars with loud exhaust doing donuts late into the night? What about terrible service? Who doesn't want to pay an extra $30 a night for parking for a second car. Love getting nasty notes from rude employees for what YOU did wrong? Then Lakeshore RV park is for you! At least you'll be trained and ready for torture after this once in a lifetime experience.

The only negative for the 4/5 is the price. It is a beautiful park and wonderful location and keeping it up does take a lot but still pricey.

Camp host is crazy and out of control totally unreasonable we are trying to do what's best for the park all she wanted to do was be on a power trip and it was clear to all 5 sites that witnessed her actions! We always fallow rules and leave things cleaner than when find it it's a shame that rules over ride common sense good luck to anyone who stays here!!!

Disappointingly maintained and un level sites , sewer dump is 6 to 8 inches above ground and water- sewer area are located in dirt that can and is muddy. Grass hasn't been mowed in in a couple of weeks and with the exception of one very nice person in the check in building the people are rude and abrupt, especially the golf cart security man who I have a few encounters with. I will never be back, NEVER!! Especially at $80 per night, VERY OVERPRICED!!

On the comment about the out of control camp host. First off you did brake the rules you are only allowed 2 vehicles per site and you had multiple vehicles. You were asked kindly to move them. And you didn't until they asked you multiple times. And then you had to use the F word to her. Wow ! So anyway the rules are in place so that all campers enjoy their time here. And everyone should respect them or camp somewhere else. Been coming here for over 30 years and have enjoyed it every one of them. The camp host is doing a fantastic job that goes unappreciated. So please respect your neighbor campers and employees of the park.

This park is simply awesome. No matter where your spot ends up being, it's always just a fence away from the water. Super short walk to town for food and whatever else you could possibly need. Everyone is beyond friendly and very helpful. Beautiful views at every angle!

The staff at this park is very frustrating. They also have the ability to turn the sprinklers on certain campsites. They micromanage everything you do.

We stayed at the park the week before Labor Day weekend. The staff was super nice and the park is so well maintained. Yes the sprinklers come on... but the pay off is really nice green grass to enjoy! We had such a great time, we will be back next year!! Thanks Chelan for providing such a nice place to camp!

With less than 90 days notice, my husband and I decided to have a small wedding in Chelan. We were already booked at Lakeshore, so we decided to get married in the park adjacent to the camping area.
We did a drive though on our way home from another camping trip and the park was so packed, picnic tables strewn about, nowhere to sit....I wondered "what the heck did I get myself into???"
Well, all of my worries were for nothing. I dealt with Kathy via email and she answered all of my questions. She was professional and courteous, as were all of the employees there that we dealt with.
It seemed like a lot of red tape with all of the rules and such, but I feel like the employees at Lakeshore want to make sure the rules are being followed so that everyone staying there can have the best experience possible, especially during peak season. Chelan is kind of a nightmare during peak season with how busy it is. Despite this, the park was/is impeccably maintained.
Anyway, we had a group of 10 RV campers there and a friends with boat slip rentals. They let us put picnic tables together and decorate the trees, put the chairs on the lawn in front of the water, even gave us a golf cart ride back to the RV site after boat photos. We had such a great experience at Lakeshore and we are happy to be returning every year for our anniversary.
Thank you so much to all of you at Lakeshore!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
