Fremont Troll

A mixed-media colossal statue under the Aurora Bridge in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Commissioned by the Fremont Arts Council in 1990, local artists Steve Badanes, Will Martin, Donna Walter and Ross Whitehead built this 18 foot sculpture of a troll clutching a VW Beetle. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the sculpture by climbing on him try and poke out his one good eye made out of a hubcap.
