Seattle Central Library

This downtown Seattle landmark is known as the flagship library of the The Seattle Public Library System. The 11-story glass and steel building was opened to the public in 2004 and holds about 1.45 million books. This building was voted #108 on the American Institute of Architects' list of Americans' 150 favorite structures.
