I gave 5 stars because it is excellent as a budget hotel. No, it's not the Ritz.
The staff was very pleasant and efficient. The room was spotless. This is a refurbished older hotel. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, TV. I definitely recommend it for those of us in a budget.

If you have any other choices within your budget - go there! Probably the rudest, most disappointing stay I've ever had.

Booked 2 - two bedroom "suites" for my crew for five days. The word "suite" is a joke! These are not suites. It is a one bedroom room with a second bed in what would be the sitting room/kitchen in a regular "suite". There was only one occasional chair, no sofa, no desk and the "suite" that I was staying in didn't even have a mini fridge in the "kitchenette", even though it said in the listing there would be one and we repeatedly asked to have one. With only one chair you have to sit on the bed to watch a very, very small 32" television that is clear across the room and hung way too high.

The second suite did not have any smoke detectors and even after we made them aware of this SAFETY violation they never corrected it in the entire five days we were there.

Breakfast is a joke. Half the days they didn't have any boiled eggs, there was no fruit, not sure how old the orange juice was, we had to ask EVERY day for napkins, today there was no butter for the cheap bread or frozen English muffins they put out, the non-commercial, cheap toaster has not worked correctly all week ( another thing we mentioned to them early in the stay - burns the toast/doesn't pop up)

As the one picture shows, you can see the desk clerk on her phone. That is exactly how we found her in the lobby each and every morning. Never once did she look up and greet us and if we asked about the breakfast items or napkins she acted like we were inconveniencing her. The one day we even walked in to find her sitting at the desk doing her hair and make-up. Guessing it's a family owned business and professionalism is not an employee requirement.

I could go on and on (dirty, noisy, no coffee or creamer packet refills in the rooms, nasty carpet, stained linens, etc), but I think you get the general idea.

      Drive on by!

My father was taking a friend out for a medical appointment. We booked 3 nights on hotels.com and did not know how many nights on the second room. When I found out I called the hotel direct and they agreed to give me the same price. Late tonight upon arrival They had lost our reservations. So after driving 10hours my elderly father was left trying to find a room. The staff was rude and completely not helpful.

Honestly, wouldn't recommend staying here at all. DONT bring your family/ kids here. There is a lot of prostitution going on in this hotel, and im sure the owners are aware of it and didnt seem to care. Many things went on during my visit here first and last time ever going to this place. No parking, alot of Drug sales going on maybe the cops should visit this place frequently seemed like nothing was in order. Parking was terrible. Alot of people going in and out of rooms, parties etc please be careful before booking this hotel. Sketchy stuff seemed to happen the whole night, not safe at all. The bed's arnt comfortable at all pillows are very flat. DEFINITELY TERRIBLE

Gross hotel, room, and homeless/crackheads wandering around the building, BUT let's be honest. The only reason you are considering staying here is because you are a cheap bastard like myself. You are thinking to yourself, "it can't be THAT bad". Well, we didn't get murdered or contract an STD (we think... fingers crossed). So, you get exactly what you pay for, and it's the cheapest hotel in Seattle that we could find. Sure, our "non-smoking" room smelled like the Marlboro man was living here before us and had died in the room, and the curtain didn't cover the entire window (hello peeping toms), but we survived. AND, spent the night at about half the cost of other hotels in the area.

I needed a place to spend the night and was driving by, so I stopped in. The front desk clerk was nice enough. I asked for a non-smoking room and he assured me the entire place was non-smoking. LIAR! LOL! When I got into the room, I noticed that is was stinking of cigarette smoke. Apparently that no smoking policy just started when I arrived. :)

As I close the door, I notice a "cross" hand painted in BLOOD on the back of the door. That was way too, "Charles Manson". Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night, thinking that Charles and his followers would break in any time and use me as a sacrifice. I noticed the same treatment to the bathroom door along with bloody fingerprints everywhere. CREEPY!

I attempted to use the television attached to the wall, but it wasn't even hooked up. Lovely!

They were supposed to serve breakfast to the customers. I went to the office in the morning and there was nasty little muffins and cereal, but no milk. I asked the woman behind the counter why someone didn't go buy some milk at the Safeway across the street. She told me she was by herself and couldn't leave. At that same moment, another employee (housekeeping staff) arrived and started helping herself to the muffins and coffee. Then another employee arrived and did the same thing... Muffins and coffee. Then the three employees started having a conversation in Spanish. Still no milk. I just shook my head in disbelief.

The only saving grace is that now I have a historic "low point" to use for comparisons. My recommendation is that you press down on the accelerator as you fly past this place. Don't even slow down.

      Most sincerely,
      Tahoe Sands

This was the worst place I have ever been to. I actually only stayed a hour and the management wouldn't let us make a deal I was willing to pay half the price the owner (Andrew) told me he can't do that and I said the room was horrible with lots of nasty/broken things and I asked him straight up, "am I S.O.L" and Andrew said, "yes". This is the mentality of this business they just want to take your money he never once apologized for the broken/ STAINED items. The reviews on trip advisor also show how terrible of a place this was. The front desk staff was fully aware of the situation I was in and was helpful that's the only good that came about this stay. But the owner is literally just trying to take your money. Motel 6 is a way better stay! And cheaper.... Yes I let Andrew know I will be putting a review of this since he said I was SOL.

I'm definitely NOT a hotel snob but this place was absolutely awful!! I don't mind small and simple but CLEANLINESS is absolutely NECESSARY when it comes to a motel or hotel. Dirty sheets, dirty floors, dirty bathroom, stale odor... Save your money and stay somewhere decent. Really, as a business owner how hard is it to use clean sheets and tidy up a place. I refused to walk barefoot on the carpet and the filth on my socks from their carpet would tell you why! DISGUSTING! They don't even deserve one star! I should have checked out the reviews on YELP first. Instead I only looked a the reviews on the booking site I was on. Never again! Will always be checking with
      Trusted and True YELP!
